Job summary

The Armstrong Company in Summerville, SC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, safety, and inventory control for equipment and supplies.

You will train and supervise staff, coordinate with other departments, track shipments, reconcile records, and drive efficiency through process improvements and technology adoption, while adhering to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Transportation/Warehousing leadership experience.
• Strong project management, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of kitting, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); Magaya WMS is a plus.
• Proven communication, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including receipt, documentation, storage, safety, and distribution of equipment and supplies and maintenance of inventory.
• Train, supervise, and evaluate performance of warehouse staff; assign workloads.
• Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store, and deliver materials and equipment.
• Implement and maintain warehousing procedures and standards for accurate and timely storage and billing.
• Ensure OSHA standards are met and adhered to; maintain clean storage areas.
• Coordinate with departments to improve warehouse efficiency and drive measurable improvements.
• Help implement technology to improve warehouse processes and drive efficiencies.
• Schedule and track ingoing and outgoing commercial projects; support sales with shipments and reports.
• Reconcile receiving and delivery reports; act with Armstrong DNA at all times.
