Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Florida to direct warehouse activities, manage shipments, and maintain accurate inventory. The role requires coordinating with production, sales, and purchasing to ensure smooth operations and safety compliance.

• Six months’ experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, materials handling, and inventory upkeep.
• Inspect warehouse and equipment condition; prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacements.
• Coordinate with department heads to sync warehouse activities with production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
• Direct salvage of damaged or used material.
• Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
• Count, weigh or measure items in shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and records.
• Assist in monthly cycle counts.
• Assist in annual inventory.
