Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking a Warehouse Manager to direct warehouse activities and ensure efficient operations across facilities. You will oversee inventory accuracy, safety, and coordination with production, sales, and purchasing teams.

The role requires at least a GED and six months of warehouse/inventory experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Competitive compensation, 401K, and stock purchase available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months’ experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures for verification of shipments, inventory upkeep, and keeping warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Inspect warehouse and equipment condition; prepare work orders for repairs or replacements.
• Coordinate with department heads to align warehouse activities with production, sales, records control and purchasing.
• Direct salvage of damaged or used material.
• Participate in safety planning and plant protection activities.
• Count, weigh or measure items in incoming/outgoing shipments to verify against records.
• Assist in monthly cycle counts.
• Assist in annual inventory.
