Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Manager to direct warehouse activities and ensure efficient operations. The role partners with production, sales and purchasing to coordinate tasks and maintain accuracy of inventory and records.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage safety programs, cycle counts, and annual inventory. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Six months’ experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and insurability required.

Responsibilities

Establish operational procedures for verification of shipments and maintaining inventory.
Inspect warehouse conditions and equipment; arrange repairs and replacements as needed.
Coordinate with department heads to align warehouse activities with production, sales, records control and purchasing.
Direct salvage of damaged or used material.
Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
Count, weigh or measure items to verify information against records.
Assist in monthly cycle counts and annual inventory.
