Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Manager to direct all warehouse activities, ensure accurate inventory, and maintain a safe, efficient operation.

You will establish procedures for receiving, put-away, and cycle counts, coordinate with production and purchasing, and supervise staff to meet schedules. Competitive pay and benefits are offered, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and warehouse safety.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational procedures for receiving, verification, handling and disposition of materials.
• Inspect warehouse and equipment, coordinate repairs and replacements as needed.
• Coordinate with department heads to align warehouse activities with production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
• Direct salvage of damaged or used material.
• Plan personnel safety and plant protection activities.
• Count, weigh or measure items in shipments to verify accuracy against records.
• Assist in monthly cycle counts and annual inventory.
