Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Louisville to coordinate receiving, shipping and material handling across shifts in a union environment. You will design and improve storage systems, drive cost efficiency and safety, and develop a high-performance team of supervisors.

You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure alignment with quality standards. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in operations/logistics plus supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, operations management or similar field.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or TPM/lean manufacturing experience evidenced by a major improvement project.
• 5+ years of operations/logistics or supply chain experience with 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Must have indefinite right to work in the United States and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, shipping and material handling; design storage and product movement systems.
• Improve operations, cost efficiency, service and safety for the unit across shifts.
• Manage multiple shifts in a union environment and develop a team of supervisors.
• Forecast requirements, prepare budgets, schedule expenditures and analyze variances.
• Lead continuous improvement projects; analyze workflow, manpower, space and equipment layout.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; resolve issues on the plant floor.
