Job summary

Nextran Corporation seeks a seasoned Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in the Atlanta/College Park area, overseeing receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control. You’ll supervise staff, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with carriers to optimize inbound/outbound logistics.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree preferred and 5+ years of warehouse supervision in the truck parts industry, with strong leadership and knowledge of OSHA

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 5+ years of warehouse supervision experience, including staff supervision, preferably in heavy-duty truck parts industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in inventory software Karmak/Fusion and basic computer applications.
• Working knowledge of inventory control systems and logistics software.
• Strong knowledge of truck parts terminology, SKUs, and inventory handling practices.
• Familiarity with heavy parts handling and warehouse safety best practices.
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages the overall daily activities of the warehouse including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping and inventory control.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety and productivity standards.
• Maintains inventory control procedures through cycle counts, and proper documentation of bin locations and quantity verifications
• Coordinates inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and internal departments.
• Enforces safety procedures and conducts regular inspections, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company policies
• Monitors KPIs and warehouse metrics to identify areas for process improvement.
• Implements and enforces standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
• Manage warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance or repair as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet company objectives.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Maintains delivery routes and schedules, coordinating with delivery drivers and outbound freight carriers.
• Oversees remanufactured parts core management process (from core credit to customer to processing returns to assigned location)
• Monitors vehicle tracking software and vehicle maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned
