Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years warehousing/related operational experience.
• Experience training or leading others in warehouse settings preferred.
• Experience with product intake, order entry, packaging, shipping systems preferred.
• Knowledge of safe battery handling preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with standard computer applications; Word/Excel preferred.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and coordinate daily warehouse work for material handling, including box opening, intake, order entry, shipping, and battery processing.
• Own onboarding and ongoing training for material handlers with clear instruction and coaching.
• Assess readiness and skill gaps; partner on development plans and qualification needs.
• Assign work and balance staffing to maintain safe, accurate warehouse flow into and out of repair operations.
• Ensure packages are opened, identified, documented, staged, and routed per standard work; prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor order-entry accuracy, resolve issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Coordinate outbound packaging and shipping to meet carrier and quality requirements.
• Oversee safe battery processing, including inspection, charging, testing, and storage.
• Reinforce safety, housekeeping, equipment use, and quality through daily coaching.
• Provide day-to-day direction and address performance or attendance concerns with supervision.
• Ensure staff have supplies, tools, and system access to perform work safely.
• Track workload, throughput, training completion, and turnaround constraints; communicate risks and actions.
