Job summary

TTI Power Equipment is seeking a Customer Repairs Lead at its Anderson, SC location to support the Tool Repair Department. This hands-on warehousing leadership role trains and guides the material handling team in box opening, order entry, shipping, and battery processing while maintaining safe, consistent, and efficient daily execution.

The Lead coordinates onboarding and training, ensures accurate order entry, and oversees outbound shipping and safe battery processing.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–3 years warehousing, material handling, shipping, receiving, or related operations.
Experience training, onboarding, coaching, or providing day-to-day work direction in a warehouse or operational setting preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with standard Word/Excel.
Ability to prioritize based on workload, safety, and turnaround commitments.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and coordinate daily warehouse work for the material handling team across box opening, customer-product intake, order entry, shipping, and battery processing.
Own onboarding and continuing training for material handlers through instruction, hands-on demonstration, documented standard work, observation, coaching, and follow-up verification.
Assess readiness and skill gaps, provide refresher or cross-training, and partner with Supervisor on development plans.
Assign work and balance staffing to maintain safe, accurate, and timely warehouse flow into and out of repair operations.
Ensure packages/products are opened, identified, documented, staged, and routed according to standard work while preventing damage or loss.
Monitor order-entry accuracy and completeness, resolve routine issues, escalate as needed.
Coordinate outbound packaging and shipping to meet carrier, documentation, quality, and turnaround requirements.
Oversee safe battery processing, including identification, inspection, charging, testing, segregation, storage, documentation, and escalation of nonconforming product.
Reinforce warehouse safety, housekeeping, equipment-use, product-handling, and quality requirements through daily coaching and leadership.
