Job summary

SEA Wire and Cable, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to manage operations within a department of the warehouse.

Develops strategy and goals that align with SEA strategy and goals for ongoing as well as future operations of the warehouse. You will oversee product flow, equipment upgrades, inventory basics, staff recruitment and training, and coaching to meet daily performance goals while contributing to overall warehouse objectives.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to effectively communicate with a variety of personnel throughout the organization.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with ERP, Microsoft, and general computer software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains product flow according to set, standard lead times.
• Recommend new/improved equipment upgrades or redesigns to improve end quality, safety, or efficiencies.
• Inventory basic replacement products – pots/fuses/switches – plus common motors, boards, heater elements, etc.
• Maintains physical condition of the department area of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
• Maintains staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, and training employees.
• Develops staff to meet daily performance goals through coaching and evaluation.
• Contributes to warehouse goals by achieving daily metrics.
