Job summary

Tire Rack in Sparks, Nevada is seeking a Warehouse Department Supervisor to lead daily operations within the distribution center. You will oversee a team of warehouse associates, ensure accuracy, safety, and on-time order fulfillment, and drive continuous process improvements.

In this role you will coach and develop staff, monitor performance, manage inventory in the WMS, and collaborate with other departments to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of warehouse experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience supervising, coaching, motivating, and developing warehouse associates.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
• Experience using WMS to manage inventory, shipments, returns, and workflows.
• Ability to identify operational challenges and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within an assigned warehouse department, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse associates; foster a positive work environment.
• Assign work, establish priorities, and adjust staffing to meet daily production goals.
• Monitor workflow and report department progress and updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and SOPs.
• Analyze performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee inventory accuracy in the WMS, including stock reconciliation and returns processing.
• Identify root causes of issues and drive corrective actions with management.
