Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to plan the layout of the warehouse and other storage areas, determine work procedures, and assign duties to ensure efficient workflow. You will supervise staff, enforce safety, and resolve issues to maintain orderly operations in McCook, IL.

Required are 3–4 years of relevant experience, 2–3 years of supervisory experience, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to four years relevant, job-related experience, education or combination thereof.
• Two to three years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items and methods/equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves issues; enforces safety regulations.
