Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. in Lancaster, CA seeks an Associate Manager to lead warehouse operations in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

You will manage 5-7 full-time staff plus 6-10 seasonal workers during peak season, driving productivity and ensuring accurate inventory, shipping, and receiving processes. Collaborate with the Director of Operations on forecasting and ordering, maintain health and safety compliance, and ensure timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in logistics, inventory control, and process improvement.
• 2-3 years of warehouse shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and oversee 5-7 full time warehouse staff who handle materials, packing, and shipping.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Coordinate and follow up on LTL shipments daily.
• Develop vendor relationships and look for alternate suppliers where appropriate.
