Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in the United States. You will lead a team of Supervisors, Foreman, and hourly staff to meet daily orders while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include improving process efficiency, managing materials and labor, and developing contingency plans for breakdowns to ensure continuous order fulfillment. A BS/BA degree and 10 years in food manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree, minimum 10 years food manufacturing experience; strong mathematical, statistical, and accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process to achieve company goals.
• Direct a staff of Production Supervisors, Foreman, and hourly employees.
• Manage process flow to meet daily customer orders; communicate daily progress with support groups.
• Develop contingency plans during breakdowns to ensure order fulfillment.
• Manage raw material usage and establish goals; design and implement processes to improve performance.
• Manage labor usage and establish goals; design and implement processes to continuously improve performance.
• Manage all costs associated with manufacturing.
• Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction through QA interaction.
