Job summary

Stord is seeking an ICQA - Operations Lead to oversee loading, unloading, picking and packing while assigning work to warehouse associates. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and productivity, supervise tasks, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written and/or oral instruction, including unloading, outbound staging and loading, verifying and labeling of freight, picking and packing.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance personnel.
• Advise associates on care and preservation of product, use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, shipping stock, and related problems.
• Ensure high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions when help is needed.
• Take action and speak to associates when proper safety, quality, and productivity procedures are not being followed.
• Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates and leadership
• Adhere to company or site-specific safety policy and guidelines to ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies.
• Investigates bin location variances.
• Research problem orders and receipts.
• Inputs data into Order management system.
• Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy.
• Performs to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Strong work ethic and attention to the small details will ensure our operations continue to run smoothly
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Ensure quality assurance processes and procedures are followed
• Perform product counts
• Stage materials within designated areas
• Operate all necessary warehouse equipment and tools
• Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents
• Move materials weighing 50 lbs or more at times
• Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
