Job summary

J&L Building Materials is seeking a Warehouse Manager for our Frazer, PA flagship branch. You will lead daily operations across two warehouse areas, supervise the hill and main warehouse teams, and partner with the Branch Manager to drive efficiency, accuracy in shipping/receiving, and within-budget resource management.

You will train and onboard staff, uphold safety standards, and coordinate intra-company transfers while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in warehouse management or supervision (past 5 years).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Minimum 1 year forklift operation experience.
• Ability to learn ERP/inventory systems; Traverse a plus.
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills (percentages, measures).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across two warehouse areas; supervise hill and main warehouse teams.
• Develop and improve procedures for shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling.
• Coordinate intra-branch transfers and communicate with other Warehouse Managers.
• Ensure safety compliance and conduct daily facility inspections.
• Train and onboard new warehouse staff with standardized procedures.
