Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. in Crystal Springs, Mississippi is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet production and customer demands.

You will manage staff, enforce safety protocols, optimize layout, monitor inventory, coordinate with procurement and logistics, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of WMS and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency and space utilization.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Prepare and present reports on warehouse activities, including inventory status, productivity, and safety metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse performance and reduce costs.
