Job summary

K&M Tire in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in running a smooth, efficient hub. You will help ensure deliveries are on time and accurate and will lead, train, and communicate with the team to maintain safety and organization.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and hands-on leadership, including cross-training staff and assisting with daily operations, maintenance, and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive delivery vehicles.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift 1 week every 2 months.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts using company values as a guide.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
• Assist in overseeing delivery drivers.
• Ensure inventory counts are correct.
• Coordinate chart/rack changes in a timely manner.
• Maintain alt warehouse locations.
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork timely.
• Keep procedures up to date and followed.
• Strive for peak performance and continuous improvement.
• Capable of covering all employees’ duties when needed and cross-training.
• Assist others to reach K&M Tire goals.
• Report issues to supervisor.
