Job summary

McPherson Companies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee all warehouse functions, ensuring reliable inventory, proper staging, and safe operations.

You will supervise staff, coordinate with the Warehouse Manager, and drive KPI achievement while maintaining a compliant, efficient facility. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in warehousing with supervisory experience, proficiency in JD Edwards and Microsoft Office, and a track record of training personnel and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years warehouse experience
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse lead or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Inventory and Warehouse Management systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply for customers
• Monitor replenishment, bulk tanks, and movements of trucks/rail cars
• Organize stock areas for pails, drums, packages, bulk, and totes
• Conduct monthly cycle counts and coordinate quarterly inventories
• Verify inventory receipts and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Train personnel on standard operating procedures
• Identify slow-moving inventory and advise management
• Assist drivers with loading and help customers
• Prepare stock and paperwork for intercompany loads; daily inventory checks
• Communicate with Operations, Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance; assist as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe facility
• Lead monthly safety meetings and training
• Monitor weekly hours and ensure adequate shift coverage
• Support JD Edwards usage for personnel
• Plan daily fleet work and prepare required tasks
• Help achieve warehouse KPI goals monthly
