Qualifications

3+ years of warehouse, logistics, shipping and materials management experience; supervision experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, receiving processes, shipping and warehouse best practices.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

Oversee daily receiving activities, ensuring all inbound materials are inspected, verified, and properly documented.
Verify outbound shipments match customer orders, purchase orders, and shipping instructions.
Coordinate with Procurement and Quality to resolve discrepancies, damaged materials, and supplier issues.
Ensure accurate system transactions for all receipts (ERP/MRP systems).
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse layout optimized for safety and workflow.
Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored in correct locations, and protected from damage.
Schedule and direct timely delivery of materials, kits, and components to production areas.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and effective control procedures.
Investigate and resolve inventory variance issues to prevent production delays.
Assign dock doors and manage trailer loading based on routing and cutoff times.
Supervise warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
Create and uphold a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor KPIs including on-time shipping, accuracy, labor productivity, and dock throughput.
