Job summary

Dealer Tire is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead in Blythewood, SC to guide the receiving or shipping function, supervise associates, and ensure timely, accurate shipments. You will support inventory control, conduct cycle counts, and collaborate with leadership to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and process improvements, with a focus on developing a high-performing team within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory, and transportation.
• Strong process improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with WMS, TMS and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assigned function (receiving or shipping) and supervise associates to ensure timely and accurate operations.
• Assist in supervising inbound and outbound shipments for correctness and timeliness.
• Aid in inventory control training and execution of cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Count products before storage; compare to manifest; report shortages, damages, and missed shipments.
• Check contents of orders for quantity, quality, labeling, and address accuracy.
• Perform relocation, replenishment, and consolidation of product as directed.
• Provide input on staffing, equipment, and resource allocation.
