Job summary

Continental Services in Maple Heights is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the full warehouse production process and supervise staff.

You will lead by example on the 6:30 AM–3 PM shift, manage staffing, plan and delegate, ensure timelines, and track assets while driving efficiency and policy compliance. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in warehouse/ops are required. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management or hospitality management. Equivalent work experience in the industry is acceptable.
• 2+ years in warehouse, operations, maintenance, customer service, quality assurance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in the selection, training, development, and leadership of the team.
• Step in as a working manager, leading by example.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and delegate responsibility to ensure goals and objectives are met daily.
• Assist in the ongoing creation and execution of the company vision.
• Consistently demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed metrics set by operational leadership team.
• Ensure that all events are loaded completely and sent out as scheduled as well as all warehouse assets are properly tracked and maintained.
• Ensure proper staffing and daily tasks are completed.
• Oversee timelines for set up, production and breakdown.
• Adjust product picking schedule based upon team’s picking speed, and overtime needed to complete scheduled work.
• Propose and implement new methods to improve the efficiency of accurate information and execution, as well as ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide timely status of work completion and proactively raise issues before they escalated.
• Enforce all company policies within the employee handbook. Proper uniform, monitor breaks and personal cell phone usage, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
