Job summary

Continental Services in Plainfield is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety and efficiency, while supervising a union team and maintaining inventory accuracy. This hands-on role oversees workflow, equipment readiness, and service support for field teams.

The position is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility as needed. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, equipment management, or a related field.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience with a union team.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to occasionally lift equipment, parts, and supplies up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
• Assign priorities, monitor productivity, attendance, and performance.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and performance management.
• Support field service teams by ensuring parts and tools are available to technicians.
• Maintain inventory records, monitor levels, and coordinate replenishment.
• Monitor equipment condition, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate repairs.
• Drive reporting on productivity and implement process improvements.
