Job summary

NFI in Olive Branch, MS seeks a Warehouse Operations Lead to supervise daily warehouse activities under the Operations Supervisor. This role coordinates receiving, putaway, picking, and loading, while directing staff and forklift duties to meet service and cost objectives.

You will enforce safety, quality, and productivity goals and lead process improvements, training, and data reporting. This position is on site at the Olive Branch facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals.
• Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products.
• Directs work assignments to employees.
• Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities.
• Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
• Communicates problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas.
• Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
• Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and WIs.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and organization; assists in staging orders for delivery.
• Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place.
• Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
