Job summary

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has warehousing/logistics experience with focus on safety, reliability, and process improvement.
• Four+ years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager in Warehousing, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and customer service orientation.
• Excellent analytical, problems solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations to meet budget goals.
• Manage warehouse personnel including training, performance reviews, hiring, and termination.
• Oversee budget (P&L) for the warehouse.
• Develop and train supervisory staff in leadership responsibilities.
• Collaborate on SOPs for the warehouse area.
• Oversee inventory control activities.
• Utilize Warehouse Management System for cycle counts, adjustments and space optimization.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service and other Managers to support new business implementations and account changes.
• Promote a best-in-class safety culture and ensure safety program compliance.
• Ensure safe use of material handling equipment and manage maintenance.
