Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Dallas is seeking a Team Lead, Operations to coordinate warehouse activities, training, and compliance within a fast-paced distribution environment. You will lead associates handling receiving, warehousing, and shipping tasks, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, overseeing shipping/receiving, conducting quality checks, and maintaining SOP adherence.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
1 year experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
Able to operate MHE (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities and SOPs.
Oversee unloading, picking, packing, and staging to meet productivity goals.
Communicate professionally with customers and prepare activity reports for site management.
Ensure quality control using SOPs; report damages or discrepancies and participate in quality meetings.
Maintain safety, housekeeping, and compliance; follow OSHA/MSDS standards and safety meetings.
Direct warehouse teams, assist in schedules, and manage work assignments to ensure productivity.
Initiate corrective actions to prevent non-conformities and escalate to Quality/Operations as needed.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment; ensure forklift certification is current.
Perform other clerical/admin duties as guided by site management; support overtime or weekend shifts.
