Job summary

Zwiesel Fortessa Americas LLC is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager at our Winchester, VA distribution facility. This role leads daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of products.

You will manage labor, inventory, shipping, receiving, and cost-control initiatives while supporting customer service objectives. The position requires 5+ years in warehouse operations, 2+ years in people management, and strong WMS/inventory knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
5+ years of warehouse or distribution center operations experience.
2+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
Strong working knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and fulfillment processes.
Proven experience managing KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

Direct and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting.
Ensure fulfillment accuracy, order timeliness, and productivity targets are met.
Establish and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Plan labor and workflow based on volume forecasts and operational needs.
Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates.
Enforce OSHA safety programs and regulatory requirements; promote a safe, organized warehouse environment.
