Job summary

Hunt Military Communities in Silverdale, WA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team of warehouse technicians and purchasing coordinators. You will oversee daily warehousing operations and support the Maintenance Director/Community Director with project scope and deliverables.

The role requires strong supervisory skills, inventory management, vendor compliance, and budget awareness. OSHA-10 and EPA 608 certifications are expected, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in warehousing, receiving, inventory control or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• EPA 608 Certification and OSHA-10 Training are required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises warehouse technicians and purchasing coordinators on a day-to-day basis, assigns work, and schedules hours.
• Oversees stock control and ensures orders are processed accurately within budget expectations.
• Maintains inventory of maintenance parts, tools, assets, and capital purchases, ensuring proper tracking in inventory systems.
• Creates purchase orders and allocates procurement per budget; maintains budget data.
• Monitors regulatory compliance and vendor policies, ensuring all staff understand policies.
• Operates within approved budget and enforces vendor billing accuracy.
• Assists in defining resources needed to complete projects and tasks.
• Keeps current on OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Identifies opportunities for more efficient processes and develops revised documents as needed.
• Collects and analyzes data for reports on inventory trends and item disposition.
• Supports Notivus system, vendor approvals, contracts and CR&R compliance.
