Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to direct daily production, drive continuous improvement, and develop the team to meet quality and delivery targets. You will coach staff, communicate with cell leaders and management, and ensure safety and compliance across the operation.

Responsibilities include coordinating workflow, managing inventory, inspecting equipment, compiling performance reports, and promoting tooling improvements based on team feedback to optimize processes

Qualifications

Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required (high school level).
Two years minimum leading and implementing change in a high-output production environment.
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task in a production setting.

Responsibilities

Direct day-to-day operation of the team to meet standards and targets.
Coordinate workflow within the department to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
Communicate with work cell leaders and managers to align objectives and achievements.
Lead, motivate and develop direct staff in the department or cell.
Build the team and develop soft and technical skills.
Coordinate and maintain inventory transactions per company policy.
Compile reports on team performance and output.
Drive continuous improvement across the department.
