Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations of drivers and warehouse staff, ensuring receiving and shipping procedures are followed and the warehouse remains organized and efficient.

The role involves coordinating with purchasing, leading the team, and maintaining various station areas, including UPS packages. Experience in warehouse operations and DOT compliance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations.
• Management experience, leading workers on an assigned shift.
• Experience with RF Scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
• Computer proficiency and basic data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Work with the team to ensure receiving and shipping procedures are followed.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.
• Communicate with purchasing department regularly regarding POs and timelines.
• Coordinate with leadership on warehouse functionality and efficiency.
• Maintain UPS small package station.
• Collaborate with Counter and Hearth/Garage Door teams for warehouse efficiency.
• Delegate and train staff on procedures, material handling and scanning responsibilities.
• Develop goals and skills to improve performance of employees.
• Lead and train drivers and assist with vehicle readiness and maintenance.
