Job summary

Amcor Limited in Monroe, LA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate daily warehousing activities, schedule staff, and ensure on-time customer order fulfillment. The role emphasizes safety, inventory control, and collaboration with trucking and inter-plant teams.

You will print orders, prepare BOLs, and manage JDE documentation while promoting continuous improvement and cost efficiency. A strong emphasis on planning, communication, and forklift operations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient in warehousing/shipping/receiving/inventory control.
• Know-how operating office equipment (fax, copiers, printers, PC).
• Able to troubleshoot and solve problems in fast-paced settings.
• Able to interpret written/oral instructions.
• 4-5 years warehousing or logistics experience; supervisory preferred.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS), JDE, dc-link, internet.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.
• Adhere to Amcor safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, climb, reach daily.
• Work in warm, humid, cool warehouse environments.
• Wear PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe shoes, gloves).
• Forklift, hand truck, pallet jack operation; forklift license required.
• Day shift; flexibility for holidays, weekends, evenings, overtime.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily scheduling of Warehouse and Shipping personnel.
• Print orders, prepare bills of lading (BOL), process JDE docs.
• Schedule inventory cycle counts for accurate finished goods inventory.
• Promote safety initiatives and enforce safety policies.
• Communicate with trucking companies, Customer Care, and inter-plant coordinators.
• Assist in staffing open positions and scheduling for vacation periods.
• Collaborate on TEAMS for quality, cost savings, and productivity.
