Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the in-plant maintenance team in West Monroe, Louisiana. You will oversee safety programs, coordinate maintenance of production and support equipment, and drive reliability improvements.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage contracts and internal resources to minimize downtime while ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of in-plant exposure to either mechanical or electrical maintenance responsibilities.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and ensures safe work habits and compliance with safety procedures and goals.
• Supervises and establishes safety procedures for maintenance work, including lock-out/tag-out, confined spaces, and arc-flash per EHS/OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Schedules repair and improvement of production and non-production equipment to minimize outages.
• Oversees performance evaluations, recognition, discipline, and training within the maintenance team.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and data-driven reporting for equipment and facilities.
