Job summary

Riviana Foods is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate hourly staff and oversee the movement of goods, sanitation, and inventory control. You will communicate with the Warehouse Manager, manage loading/unloading activities, and ensure safety and efficiency in a high-volume operation.

Responsibilities include directing loading crews, maintaining stock rotation, and training forklift operators while upholding HACCP requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume warehousing operation.
• 2-5 years knowledge of WMS with emphasis on SAP.
• Certified Forklift Operator.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly warehouse staff and report on productivity.
• Assign trucks to loading docks and coordinate loading.
• Inspect vehicles for equipment condition and report issues.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and HACCP records.
• Take physical inventory of finished goods weekly or on request.
• Train forklift operators and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Prepare reports for Warehouse Manager on productivity and inventory.
• Enforce safety and discipline per union contracts.
