Job summary

Riviana Foods Inc. in Memphis, TN is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead hourly staff, oversee receipt and shipment of goods, and ensure sanitation and accurate inventory control.

The role requires hands-on leadership of daily warehouse activities, optimization of loading processes and strict adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume warehousing, strong knowledge of WMS with SAP emphasis, and solid mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume warehousing or distribution operation.
• Strong working knowledge of supply chain, data processing, transportation and warehousing.
• 2-5 years knowledge of WMS with an emphasis on SAP.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to lead teams.
• Able to read, interpret, calculate and record data; prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise activities of hourly warehouse employees for efficient movement of goods.
• Assign trucks to loading docks and inspect vehicle condition for loading.
• Provide daily railcar inspection reports to the Warehouse Manager.
• Train and supervise forklift operators and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and HACCP/MSDS records; oversee inventory accuracy.
• Conduct regular physical inventory of finished goods; monitor stock rotation.
• Communicate with maintenance on equipment and safeguard company assets.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
