Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a warehouse leader to manage daily operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control and product staging. The role requires operating forklifts and related equipment while ensuring safety and accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.

The position involves supervising material handling staff, maintaining records, and coordinating with other departments to optimize space and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or minimum three years related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Leadership and supervisory responsibilities for material handlers or temporary personnel.
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks or pallet riders.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and daily equipment inspection practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to present information to managers, clients and general public.
• Proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence.
• Mathematical skills: fractions, percentages, ratios, multiplication, division and basic interpretation of bar graphs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, able to handle large amounts of paperwork and transactions with high accuracy.
• Computer proficiency: move management, timekeeping, HRIS, SAP, RF scanner, and other warehouse software systems.
• Certified license for powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse activities on a daily, shift, or team basis to meet service and cost objectives.
• Operate equipment safely per OSHA standards and perform daily inspections.
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product using forklift or similar equipment.
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations.
• Prepare products for shipment and verify correct quantities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform FIFO rotation.
• Coordinate with other departments as needed.
