This role requires 3-5 years in shipping/receiving supervision, basic math, a valid driver's license, and strong communication. You will lead planning, inventory management, vendor coordination, and process improvements while training staff.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Able to adapt to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning and assignment of work for efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receives shipments and enters information into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspects deliveries for accuracy/quality and rejects undesired items.
• Supervises warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assists in vendor ordering and may contact vendors directly.
• Suggests improvements in warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provides training for warehouse employees and assists with selection.
• Uncrates shipments and manages disposal or storage of containers/packaging.
