Job summary

Astemo Ltd. is seeking an experienced Warehouse/Logistics Associate to determine shipping schedules via EDI, interface, and ERP data, and to reconcile with scheduling agreements.

You will oversee outbound fulfillment, inbound receiving, and material handling, ensuring accurate inventory and timely posting of receipts. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to train others in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in warehousing, material handling, or inventory control in automotive/manufacturing.
• Understanding how inventory accuracy supports demand and fulfillment.
• Familiarity with scheduling agreements, lot traceability, and PCNL-driven inventory disposition.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer shipping schedules and quantities via EDI, customer interface, and ERP data; reconcile daily against open agreements.
• Prioritize outbound shipments; assign to material handlers for picking and staging; track shipments to ship date.
• Receive and inspect inbound shipments; post goods receipts within 4 hours of dock arrival.
• Manage material handling: order, receive, count, store, issue, load, identify, locate materials; operate pallet jacks and forklifts as required.
• Execute daily ABC-based cycle count across all warehouse zones; target 99%+ inventory accuracy.
• Research and resolve count discrepancies with root-cause analysis within 48 hours.
• Maintain accurate on-hand, location, and lot data in ERP; reflect true net requirements and releases.
• Apply PCNL instructions to lot segregation, quarantine, and disposition of affected inventory.
• Direct/train other material handlers as requested by Warehouse/Logistics Manager.
• Lead or support scheduled physical inventory events; ensure audit-ready docs and variance reporting.
