Job summary

Astec is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping, receiving and logistics in a manufacturing environment. You will operate a forklift, inspect inbound goods, organize inventory, and package products for domestic and international shipment.

The role requires standing for long periods, basic record-keeping, and adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years in manufacturing or warehouse preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and docs.
• Operate forklift and load/unload merchandise.
• Prepare and package product for domestic and international shipping.
• Maintain accurate internal records and packing lists.
• Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with carriers.
• Ensure safe, organized work area and comply with safety rules.
