Job summary

Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey is seeking an Operations Associate for the South Hackensack warehouse. You will help transport, handle, and store donated goods while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating power equipment, assisting with loading/unloading, ensuring proper labeling, coordinating with drivers, and supporting the Ecommerce team. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are preferred, with generous benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong communication and listening skills are required.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Forklift operating license is preferred; training on baling machines may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all power equipment to perform daily duties.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and ensure cargo accuracy.
• Review incoming material for proper labeling and document discrepancies.
• Adhere to Safety and Loss Prevention policies and procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse areas and report hazards.
• Support Ecommerce inventory movements from dock to shipping area.
• Document shipment details for Salvage vendors and submit promptly.
