Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc is seeking an Administrative Assistant I for its Tracy, CA distribution center. This on-site role supports daily warehouse operations, coordinating tasks, inventory movements, and staging activities with power equipment as needed.

You will work with leadership to complete daily tasks, perform hub picks, and maintain inventory accuracy within the warehouse system, while upholding safety and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent GED.
• At least 1 year forklift experience with Swing Reach, Reach Truck, Order Picker & Dock Stocker.
• Onsite and in-office role.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn warehouse management system (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to ensure completion of daily tasks.
• Complete daily hub pick using inventory system.
• Move items using warehouse system; may involve power equipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy with warehouse system.
• Complete staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Load/unload, stack and stage products with power equipment.
• Keep aisles tidy and safe daily.
• Promote safety culture and safe working conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
