Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Tracy, CA seeks a Lead Merchandise Processor to oversee daily operations in our distribution center. You will work closely with management to drive production goals, ensure accuracy, and maintain safety and quality standards across the department.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 1 year in distribution or manufacturing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Onsite role requiring strong communication and team leadership to deliver exceptional service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in distribution, manufacturing, or retail environment.
• In lieu of distribution, manufacturing or retail environment experience, 5 years of progressive work experience.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and be extremely detailed while performing all tasks and reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Experience working with WMOS, Qlikview, and Yard View.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with management in the daily operations for the department.
• Coordinate team assignments by balancing resources as the volume requires.
• Provide training, productivity reporting, and feedback to staff daily.
• Lead staff to ensure effectiveness and productivity metrics are met.
• Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental goals and provide customers with the delivery experience.
• Create reports and conduct root cause analysis using dashboards as needed to drive improvement.
