Qualifications

• Prior experience and/or knowledge in the warehouse/transportation/customer service field.
• Strong Microsoft Office skillset.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees and managers.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Through individual and team efforts, work toward continuous improvement and actively participate in Lakeside's Standards of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assigns carriers for loads going out to forward warehouse and assigns carriers for interplant backhauls.
• Schedules appointments for outbound loads.
• Enters information in Genco system for bills.
• Communicates with Corp. on short stock.
• Runs readouts for lines to haul up stock and ensures oldest product is used first.
• Assist forklift drivers if there is a shipping problem.
• Checks in and out truck drivers and completes paperwork and seals trailers.
• Files and makes order copies.
• Assists with usages, shipping orders, cutting orders.
• Assists with data entry and maintenance on the computer system.
