Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Warehouse Night Selector to join our Swedesboro, NJ team. You will safely and accurately pick customer orders, build and wrap pallets, and help keep aisles clear and organized.

This full-time night role runs Sunday through Thursday from 6:00 pm until finish. Starting pay is $34.29 per hour, with an increase to $38.10 after 90 days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English for trainings, safety coaching, labels, and reports.
• Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday–Thursday; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Experience in high endurance or highly physical activity is preferred.
• Experience selecting large-scale warehouse orders and operating pallet-jack equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately select customer orders and build pallets meeting weekly productivity/accuracy standards.
• Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet jack.
• Move products from racks to pallets as directed by order selecting software; verify correct products and damage-free condition.
• Deliver palletized orders to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap as needed.
• Team to clear aisles, remove empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area.

Build and wrap pallets to meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy* Perform pre-shift equipment checks and safely operate an electric pallet* Carefully move products from racks to pallets directed by order selecting software and equipment* Validate that correct product has been selected and is damage free* Efficiently deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wraps palletized orders* Team up to clear aisles of debris, stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle and return pallet jacks to charging area**Physical Requirements*** Comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -5 degrees to over 100 degrees required* Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively; moving 1,000+ cases of product during each shift required **What You Bring to the Table*** ***Must be able to read and communicate in the English language such as to attend trainings, hold conversations, receive safety and job-related coaching, read labels, and enter information on reports if needed**** Able to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday – Thursday.
