Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Price, UT to manage receiving, staging, and delivery of materials to the production floor. The role supports manufacturing operations with accuracy and timeliness.

You will coordinate with the Procurement Manager, track inventory, and ensure correct kitting of parts. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., with potential overtime and safety compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Strong knowledge of IE’s organizational structure, operations, and established shipping and receiving practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the production and manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment used within the mining industry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to read English, accurately count materials, perform basic mathematical calculations, and write legibly in English.
• Must have the ability to safely operate Company forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail with effective organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate reliability, dependability, responsibility, and the ability to consistently meet job obligations.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, EPICOR, and other specialized purchasing applications.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as customers and vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must possess basic computational and mathematical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be able to establish work priorities and perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Maintain a results-oriented approach with a focus on delivering value to the organization.
• Must be able to work a 48-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Procurement Manager to support both planned and unplanned material workflow.
• Track, monitor, and deliver materials throughout the IE facility to Point of Use locations, inventory, and/or job carts.
• Deliver all items received daily from the 4-wheeler trailer to the shop floor, ensuring the trailer is empty by the end of the day.
• Deliver materials requested by production floor line leads or Project Managers directly to the appropriate individual and obtain required sign-off.
• Maintain the Material Request Queue and ensure materials are delivered promptly to will-call or the shop floor.
• Ensure received goods are properly identified and staged for manufacturing, rebuild, or routing to other departments within the company.
• Review production schedules to determine when kitted job carts need to be prepared and distributed to the shop floor.
• Ensure job carts are accurate and contain all required parts. BOMs for jobs must be signed off when job carts are distributed.
• Return completed job carts to the warehouse after jobs leave the test department.
• Document and return leftover materials to inventory and communicate with buyers regarding supplier returns.
• Ensure inventory and materials are stored in an organized and accessible manner.
