Job summary

Intermountain Electronics is seeking a Production Material Planner to ensure the production floor has all materials needed and staged for production, coordinating with material handlers to deliver from warehouse to floor in a timely manner.

The role requires stocking cells, organizing use areas, and assisting with 5S initiatives while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety. Forklift operation and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or two years shipping/receiving experience.
• Ability to read shipping documents and comprehend simple instructions.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel, and MS Outlook; EPICOR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each cell location is stocked with materials for smooth production flow.
• Assist with Ship Loose items and maintain organized Point of Use areas.
• Deliver and stage insulation, siding kits, and tube frames to the floor with inventory accuracy.
• Stock conduits, strut, cable tray, and rolling carts to prevent shortages.
• Attend weekly production schedules and participate in 5S and material initiative efforts.
• Work with leads and material handlers to mitigate material anomalies and communicate resolutions.
