Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to manage material flow from receiving to production. The role involves staging, tracking, and delivering materials on a 40-hour week with potential overtime, using forklifts and IE systems to ensure on-time production support.

You will work with the Procurement Manager and production teams to ensure accuracy, sign-offs, and efficient inventory management while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, with at least three years in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Proficient reading in English, basic math, and legible writing.
• Experience operating forklifts and safe material handling.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with IE systems and purchasing apps.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Must work 40 hours plus overtime; able to work a 48-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Procurement Manager to support both planned and unplanned material workflow.
• Track, monitor, and deliver materials throughout the IE facility to Point of Use locations, inventory, and/or job carts.
• Deliver all items received daily from the trailer to the shop floor, ensuring the trailer is empty by end of day.
• Deliver materials requested by production floor line leads or Project Managers directly to the appropriate individual and obtain required sign-off.
• Maintain the Material Request Queue and ensure materials are delivered promptly to will-call or shop floor.
• Ensure received goods are properly identified and staged for manufacturing, rebuild, or routing to other departments.
• Review production schedules to determine when kitted job carts need to be prepared and distributed to the shop floor.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse areas.
