Job summary

Intermountain Electronics in Centralia, IL is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler I for the day shift to support production by identifying, staging, and delivering materials to the shop floor. You will assist with returns, cycle counts, and inventory maintenance while ensuring timely material flow and accuracy.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and OSHA forklift certification, with proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Outlook and EPICOR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand shipping/receiving documents.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Outlook; experience with EPICOR or similar inventory systems preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and OSHA forklift certification.
• Strong attention to detail with good organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules to determine material needs and timing.
• Kitting, staging and delivering received materials to production floor.
• Track, monitor and deliver material to appropriate locations; verify BOMs.
• Document and communicate material movements with project leads and inventory control.
• Safely operate forklifts and assist with material movement and inventory checks.
