Job summary

Stolle Machinery Company - USA is seeking a Warehouse Materials Handling Specialist to manage outbound shipments and inbound receiving with an emphasis on accuracy and safety. You will verify addresses, prepare shipping documents, and select transportation while assembling orders and building protective packaging.

In this role you will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and trucks as needed, maintain inventory labeling, and support periodic counts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with shipping/receiving in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes and other material handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive manual/automatic transmissions.

If you thrive on precision and hustle, this role is for you. As our Warehouse Materials Handling Specialist, you’ll ensure every part, pallet, and package moves where it should—safely, accurately, and on time.

What you will do

• Prepare outbound shipments: verify exact addresses, complete all shipping documents, and select/confirm transportation method, space, and charges.
• Assemble orders and build protective boxes/crates for safe transit.
• Receive inbound goods: unload, inspect, identify/label, and enter data into the tracking system.
• Complete shipping and receiving reports; escalare damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping.
• Move material with forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and related equipment; assist teams in retrieving WIP and finished goods.
• Operate a saw to cut materials that support manufacturing operations.
• Operate pickup and flatbed trucks (manual or automatic) to transport materials, machinery, or products as required.
• Maintain supplies/equipment and help keep inventory accurate, labeled, and protected; support periodic inventory counts.
• Follow established SOPs, practices, policies, and procedures at the assigned location.
• Pitch in on additional responsibilities as assigned.

What you need to succeed

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, and other material handlers safely.
• Capable of driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions.
• Strong attention to detail; able to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
• English literacy (read, write, speak) and solid basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort with woodworking tasks and safe loading/unloading of vehicles.

Physical and schedule requirements

• Work week typically 40+ hours; may involve overtime, on-call, evenings, and/or weekends.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis and stand for extended periods.
