Job summary

Synapse ITS is seeking a warehouse associate to maintain precise inventories and ensure a safe, organized stockroom in a fast-paced production environment.

You will receive, move, and track stock using forklifts, barcode scanners, and inventory software, supporting production with real-time data and timely replenishment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; safety-focused mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with inventory control in manufacturing preferred.
• Able to stand, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, sort, and store inbound shipments by item type.
• Track inventory levels; perform cycle counts and audits; update system records.
• Document inventory transactions; investigate variances.
• Move stock with forklifts, hand trucks to stage, put away, and replenish locations.
• Apply safety procedures, report security issues, and champion 6S standards for organization and cleanliness.
• Partner with internal teams to provide real-time inventory data, allocate materials, and resolve questions.
• Use inventory management software and basic office applications to maintain accurate data.
• Practice 6S daily, reinforcing standard work and visual order.

Work Hours

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Core Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, sort, and store inbound shipments by item type (small parts, components, general materials).
• Track inventory levels; perform cycle counts and formal audits; update system records without delay.
• Document all inventory transactions; identify, investigate, and resolve count variances.
• Move stock with forklifts, hand trucks, and related equipment to stage, put away, and replenish locations.
• Apply safety procedures, report security issues, and champion 6S standards for organization and cleanliness.
• Partner with internal teams to provide real-time inventory data, allocate materials, and resolve questions.
• Use inventory management software and basic computer applications to maintain accurate data.
• Practice 6S daily, reinforcing standard work and visual order.
