Job summary

AGC Automotive Americas in Alabama seeks a reliable Materials Handler to receive, stock, and move materials to production using a sit-down forklift. Responsibilities include SAP transactions, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining safety and accuracy in all tasks.

You’ll support FIFO stocking, records, and shipping activities while upholding a clean safety history. Required is a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials and stock warehouse after system transactions.
• Stock production cells with glass and/or materials for production.

• Support Shipping by loading/unloading trucks when needed.
• Maintain clean safety record and follow all safety guidelines.

Job Summary

Handle materials in a safe and orderly manner and assist with the timely fulfillment and product delivery.

Principle Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials upon arrival and stock warehouse once system transactions are completed.
• Stock production work cells with glass and/or raw materials to produce products for sale to customers.
• Operate Forklift to move materials to component racks.
• Practice all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at all times.
• Perform SAP transactions in support of receiving material and movements to work cell.
• Support Shipping Department by loading and unloading trucks when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Support any other function.
• Required to support FIFO when stocking component racks, or production work cells.
• Must maintain a clean safety record.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent and basic math, reading, and reading comprehension skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 3 years of forklift experience is preferred.
• Good safety record.
• Good attendance record.
